INSTITUTIONAL CODE OF CONDUCT

Terms & Conditions of Clinical Candidacy

GOVERNED UNDER SECTION 8 CHARTER & MHCA 2017 ETHICAL FRAMEWORK

1. Clinical Ethics & Mandatory Supervision

Enrollment in any Saaya Academy training track constitutes a binding agreement to adhere to strict clinical ethics. Trainees may not represent themselves as licensed independent clinical psychologists until fulfilling all statutory RCI and institutional licensing prerequisites.

2. 5:1 Clinical Supervision Attendance

Due to the rigorous clinical nature of our programs, attendance at weekly synchronous clinical masterclasses and 1-on-1 supervision case audits is mandatory. Failure to attend scheduled supervision without prior faculty approval may result in withheld logbook certification.

3. Protection of Client Welfare & Zero-Tolerance Protocols

In all practicum scenarios (including simulated clients and school placements), trainees must strictly enforce C-SSRS suicide prevention protocols, POCSO 2012 reporting guidelines, and confidentiality standards. Any breach of client safety protocols is grounds for immediate faculty review.

4. Certification & Institutional Logbooks

Certificates of Clinical Practicum and official logbook co-signatures are issued exclusively upon satisfactory completion of all required case formulations, simulation audits, and supervisor sign-offs.
