Digital Personal Data Protection Policy

1. Institutional Commitment & Data Fiduciary Role

Saaya Academy (Section 8 Non-Profit Institution, registered in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu) operates as a registered Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act 2023. We collect, store, and process candidate information solely for legitimate clinical education, admissions evaluation, supervisory allocation, and statutory academic compliance.

2. Nature of Data Collected

  • Academic & Clinical Background: Degree transcripts, university affiliations, clinical statements of intent, and case-handling self-evaluations.
  • Contact Coordinates: Legal name, electronic mail address, telephone/WhatsApp contact, and geographic location.
  • Supervisory Logbooks & Case Notes: De-identified clinical casework and supervisor evaluations generated during training.

3. Prohibition of Commercial Data Brokerage

Saaya Academy maintains an uncompromising policy against commercial monetization of data. Your personal, academic, and clinical information is never sold, rented, leased, or transmitted to commercial advertising brokers or third-party lead aggregators.

4. Client Confidentiality & Simulated Records

In strict accordance with the Mental Healthcare Act 2017 and ethical guidelines from the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), all clinical roleplay transcripts, client simulations, and supervision audit notes are securely stored on encrypted servers with role-based access restricted strictly to designated clinical faculty.

5. Candidate Rights & Data Erasure
